A question for parents: Would most of you be concerned if your child dated a much older person?

I am 20, I look 17 and my boyfriend is 32 and looks his age, this annoys my parents to no end. My parents are always asking me "whats wrong with 20 year olds" and "why cant you bring home a nice young student". On top of that he is white and I am mixed(mom is white, dad is black ad native american), this bothers my father almost as much as the age difference. This bothers me because I have never been truly attracted to guys my age, in junior high my friends thought Daniel Radcliffe was hot while I looked at pictures of Keanu Reeves. I have always had a thing for pale men,blondes and redheads (I am olive skinned and dak featured, so I like the contrast). Have any other parents freaked out over a large age difference? How did you and your kid handle it?
