Why does Keanu Reeves act in so many christian themed movies when he's buddhist...?

Because pretty much all religions have the same philosphy at heart they just use different WORDS to describe it....Matrix could be seen as an internal struggle between the ego and the true self ..which is very Buddhist. Religion is about getting in touch with your true self ..christians believe that accepting Jesus is the way ..Buddhists believe in meditation ...but meditation and prayer are really the same thing if you do it right....I suggest you read more books on Philosphy , religion etc.. try reading about Zen Buddhism
