What is the best kind of food for my Electric Blue Jack Dempsey?

his colors are very nice, but From what I have researched, and tested, krill is the best color enhancing fish food. plankton works just as well, but is smaller. also, I know my cichlids love hunting down cray fish. If you are worried about the crayfish giving your dempsey scratches, just cut off the crayfish's claws. since crayfish are arthropods, their joints just pop off, so it will be very easy to remove the crayfish's claws either at the claw or where there arm comes out of their body. overall, any shellfish of any kind will do a great job at enhancing the color of your dempsey, but he is looking great already.
